Stella M. Rakes (nee Cook) of Warminster, Pa.,passed away peacefully and went home to be with the lord Sunday, November 18, 2018. She was 94 years old. Born in Keyrock, West Virginia, she was the youngest of 11 children. Stella was the daughter of the late Birchard and Pearl Cook and the wife of the late James Rakes. She was the loving mother of Barry Birchard Rakes, Douglas Harvey Rakes Sr.,a Sheila Lea Rakes and the late Sandy James Rakes and Jami Marie Rakes. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Services will be held locally at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donation be made to Alzheimers Assoc., 399 Market St., Suite 102, Philadelphia., Pa. 19106 in Stella's memory.
