Richard Gerhardt Strohecker, Jr. formerly of Warminster passed away Friday, September 07, 2018 at Chandler Hall Hospice. He was 87 years old. Born in Phila., he was the son of the late Richard G. and Emma (nee Mann) Strohecker.

He was the beloved husband of the late Kathleen and dear friend of the late Anita Broderick.

He was the loving father of Richard (Lisa), Steven (Helen) and Curtis (Karen). Also surviving are his 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Richard was an Army Veteran serving during the Korean War and a member of the Warminster VFW Post 6493. He was a member of the Warminster Fire Dept., Fire Police and Special Police. Richard was a Warminster Crossing Guard at Henry Ave. and Victoria Rd. and a member of the Warrington Auxiliary Police. He was a retired employee of Edgecomb Steel Co.

Relatives and friends will be received Thursday, Sept. 13, 2018 after 10:00 AM until time of his funeral service at 11:00 AM in The Decker Funeral Home, 216 York Rd., Warminster.

Interment Whitemarsh Memorial Park.
