Meulenberg, Robert William
Passed away suddenly with his family by his side on August 10. Born in Abington, PA, on July 20, 1950 to
Frank and Marie (Schmidt) Meulenberg. Survived by his beloved wife of nearly 49 years Deborah L.
(Kennedy) Meulenberg, daughter Stephanie (Joseph) Chambers, son Robert (Christa) Meulenberg, and
sister Frances (Thomas) Stokes. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren Rachael Marquez,
Abigail Meulenberg, and Marissa Chambers. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Marie,
and brother Russell Meulenberg. He was a life-long resident of Upper Moreland Township and a long-
time member of Hatboro Community Church. A general contractor by trade, he loved all sports, and in
particular baseball. One of his greatest joys in life involved spectating at his grandchildren’s numerous
activities. He will be forever loved and missed.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service/celebration of life on Saturday, September
15, at 11:00 AM at Hatboro Community Church, 730 Preston Lane, Hatboro, PA 19040 with Pastor Kerry
Ritts presiding. Visitation with the family will be held at the church on Saturday, September 15 for one
hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Hatboro
Community Church.
